We have meticulously designed every detail of each and every one of our Short Stirrup products. We have consulted numerous young riders, trainers and even tested our product under saddle and extensively at the barn. We have made modifications along the way during our entire development process to ensure that each product is designed to our highest standards.

We can assure you that our apparel products are extremely comfortable- your young rider won't want to take them off! Our sunshirts and leggings have a built in UPF 50+ sun protection factor to ensure that their skin is being protected at all times. Our hats are another great way to keep the sun off of their faces when they are not wearing their helmet.

We hand picked our fabrics for ulitimate comfort, function & durability! At Short Stirrup, we believe that each and every one of these characteristics are important for the young rider both under and out of saddle. We know that riding horses also involves taking care of horses and various aspects of barn life. Our apparel and accessories are made for it all- schooling rides, lessons, leisurely hacks, trail rides, barn chores (and don't forget, barn playing!)

The exact materials are listed on each product description. Our apparel fabrics are made with a good amount of stretch for ultimate comfort. They have a soft buttery feel so your child is sure to love them!

We have specific care instructions listed on each of our products. Please be sure to follow these closely and your items will stay in wonderful shape 🤍

Please wash our apparel products on cold and tumble try on low. Hang drying is even better to prevent any shrinkage of material. Using heat or warm water could be damaging to the silicone applications.

No, not at this time. Every one of our products is a proprietary design to Short Stirrup and is not available through any other retailers at this time.

We aim to ship all orders out within 5 days of purchase. Domestic shipping can take up to 5 business days once shipped to arrive, but usually arrives within 2-4 days.

Once your item is shipped, you will get a notification via email where you can track your package.

Shipping rates can vary depending on your region and are calculated at checkout based on your location. Shipping is free on orders over $150 with the exception of California orders.

We currently only ship within the US. We hope to expand soon as we continue to grow!

We hope that you love your new Short Stirrup items! However, if for some reason you do not, we offer easy Returns with full refunds (less shipping fees) on un-worn and clean merchandise within 14 days of receiving the items.

A prepaid return label will be provided. Please email us (hello@shortstirrupequestrian) to receive the return shipping label. Once the returned item(s) are received & inspected, the cost of the return shipping ($8.95) will be deducted from your refund. We are a small business and appreciate your understanding!

We do not offer Exchanges. If you need a different size, please make a Return and re-purchase the new size as a new order.
