I am SO excited to launch 'The Short Stirrup Journal' with you all. I absolutely love the sweet equestrian community we’ve built here at Short Stirrup around Girl's Equestrian Clothing— pony-loving girls and their dedicated, supportive parents. I want to continue to grow this community beyond the high quality girl's equestrian riding clothes that you have come to know and love! 🐴

In these journal posts, I’ll peel back the curtain on all things Short Stirrup — from new product releases and the why behind Short Stirrup Equestrian, to behind-the-scenes moments, barn and pony tips from our equestrian family to yours, and even fun printable guides and coloring pages.

We want this to be a fun and helpful resource, not only for outfitting your young riders in the cutest, most durable, and comfortable equestrian apparel, but also for building community and sharing a little joy along the way 🐎✨

I designed Short Stirrup with help along the way from my two daughters- one is a hunter and one is a jumper. We have 4 horses ourselves so we know a thing or two about needing children's riding clothes that stand up to ALL the things. Barn chores? Lessons? Hacks? Show Days? Life outside the barn? We've got you covered! Our leggings, jods, seamless tops, show shirts, elastic stirrup and bit belts, tech vests & pullovers — quite literally all of our products — were designed with extreme comfort and durability in mind both in and out of the saddle. When my girls wanted to live in these riding clothes, I knew we got it right! Every piece is tested until we love every single detail.

My whole vision around creating this clothing line was to create comfortable, adorable riding clothes that young equestrians can easily mix and match. Every piece is designed to go with each other- so it makes picking out an outfit a breeze! A capsule girl's equestrian clothing wardrobe if you will. Less time deciding what to wear and more time to play with their favorite pony! We'll make sure your young rider is comfortable in the saddle so they can focus on learning all the skills needed to ride and take care of their horses. Leave the attire to us at Short Stirrup- but expect to get MANY compliments along the way!
