Fall Horseback Riding Outfits for Girls: How to Layer for the Barn

Fall might just be one of our FAVORITE seasons at the barn. Cooler mornings, changing leaves, happy ponies and finally a break from those extra-hot summer rides! 🍂 But fall also brings one little challenge: figuring out what your young rider should wear when it’s chilly at the beginning of the day and warm by the time she gets in the saddle. 🤔

The answer? Layers, layers, layers! 🤍

When we design our Short Stirrup Equestrian clothing, we always think about what our own young riders actually need at the barn. Riding clothes need to be comfortable and functional in the saddle, durable enough for barn life and, of course, cute enough that our girls are excited to wear them!
